Mike Downard
Being involved in the security business for 25 years, I have gained great knowledge and expertise in all avenues of security, from static guards, bodyguarding, hotel security, events, alarm activations, construction sites, power stations, doorman, service of papers, repossessions plus many more.

I have built our point of difference over 20 years that we don't simply provide a service, we provide a dedicated commitment and a second-to-none service that our clients keep on coming back for.

I have lived in Taupo for 19 years and have a family of 5 children. I am actively involved in many varied community and regional activities. I believe that I have the skills, strengths, attributes and passion to succeed and deliver the security needs and wants for current and future clients.

In 2007 I stood and was successful in being voted a Taupo District Councilor. During the seven months I have been a councilor, I have become involved in the Youth Council, Sports Advisory Board and Citizens Advise Bureau. These are leadership roles and I am actively hands on and I am a person who is always looking for an opportunity to make our community safer and better for young and old. This reflects in Senjo Securities in that we strive to give our best and 100% to satisfy our clients.

Leon Rihia
Having been born and bred in Taupo, I have experienced living my life in this amazing community - therefore am passionate to provide exemplintory security for the well being of not only locals, but to all who visit our township.

Together with my wife - Tina, and our 3 children - Jesse, Kristie and Danielle, we all could not imagine living anywhere else, Taupo offers all what we require for our family, amazing sporting opportunities, great community support and wonderful schooling.

I have worked with Senjo Securites for over 14 years, and co-owned the company for the past 3 years, alongside Michael Downard. I am a firm believer to make a business successful you need to take a hands on approach, respect your staff and enjoy the work you are involved in, therefore you can often see me greeting patrons at our local night clubs, directing traffic and crowd control for our large sporting events, working behind the scenes locking up buildings or responding to alarm activations around the Taupo district.

I pride myself with been a hard working, honest, reliable people person who has a vital knowledge of cultural protocol, and a significant interest in problems and solutions within our community and work effortlessly to provide a safe and friendly environment for our Taupo community.
